Bentley’s New 2025 Continental GT

Bentley’s flagship Continental GT is being given an overhaul. Now built upon the same platform that underpins its counterpart, Panamera, but with an updated active chassis system.

Bentley’s latest and greatest innovation is its groundbreaking plug-in hybrid powertrain. Bentley’s inaugural PHEV features a twin-turbo V8 engine mated to an electric motor for unprecedented road power – making this car one of the most potent road cars ever produced by them.

Powertrain

The 2025 Continental GT and GTC Speed represent Bentley’s inaugural plug-in hybrid Continentals and fourth generation of grand continent-crossing two-doors. While its noble silhouette remains unchanged, this car now comes equipped with an Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain combining twin turbo V-8s with an electric motor for 771hp and 738 lb-ft of torque to propel a car from 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds.

The Continental’s weight can now be managed more effectively with advanced components like all-wheel drive and an electronic limited slip differential as well as active and passive systems like Bentley Dynamic Ride’s active anti-roll system and new dual valve damper design – even during its least sporty driving mode, the 2025 GT Speed is more alive than its W-12 predecessors.

Design

Bentley’s flagship Continental GT and drop-top GTC variant both receive major updates in their fourth generations. The Speed models debut a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain capable of producing 771 horsepower across coupe and convertible body styles; additionally it marks the first mainstream Bentley to feature single headlamps instead of its traditional dual setup and boast an eyebrow daytime running light.

Inside you’ll discover state-of-the-art wellness seat technology and an attractive dark chrome specification on switches, speaker grilles and more. Plus, the cabin can be upgraded with various Mulliner details!

The new Continental GT Speed and GTC models both benefit from Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis with all-wheel drive, an electronic limited slip rear differential, torque vectoring for more precise control, as well as torque vectoring to provide precise handling. When coupled with Bentley Dynamic Ride for optimal handling it produces an amazingly nimble driving experience even on demanding roads.

Technology

Bentley’s Continental GT isn’t just a powerful machine; it also comes equipped with cutting-edge technology. A hybrid drivetrain comes standard on this car, which combines a gas-powered V8 engine and an electric motor embedded within its transmission tunnel to produce 575 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque – giving the Continental GT agile handling and an added e-boost providing torque infill at low speeds as well as strong regen effect under hard braking.

Bentley plans to unveil five hybrid vehicles by 2028. The 2025 Continental GT marks the inaugural of these, offering both coupe (GT) and convertible (GTC) body styles. A GT Speed variant combines plug-in hybrid powertrain with 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 technology for maximum power of 771hp/738lbf of torque output.

An elegant interior features the Bentley Rotating Display, which transitions between a central touchscreen and veneered panel featuring analog gauges. Optional driver assistance features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Guidance, Traffic Sign Recognition and pedestrian detection.

Safety

Bentley’s 2025 Continental GT Convertible stands out as an unparalleled ultra-luxury hybrid vehicle, commanding every road with unprecedented power and grace. Powered by its formidable 4.0-liter V8 hybrid engine that produces 771 brake horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque for unmatched control over every journey.

This fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed and GTC models stand out with their striking designs. As the first mainstream Bentley models to utilize single front headlamps instead of dual round setup, which creates an eye-catching horizontal eyebrow featuring crystal cut detailing, they stand out.

Inside the cockpit, clients can experience an unparalleled driving experience thanks to a custom dashboard with three-sided rotating displays and handcrafted veneers. Furthermore, clients have their choice between Bang & Olufsen 1,500-watt stereo with 10 speakers or Naim for Bentley 2,200-watt system offering eight sound modes and 18 speakers – or they may opt for all of these options simultaneously!
