The 2023 Audi TT RS Iconic Edition is a limited-edition production run of just 100 vehicles that will be sold exclusively in Europe. This special edition model features a unique two-tone paint job and yellow contrast stitching. It also features an all-Volcano livery and a rear wing that helps offset the aerodynamic challenges of a sloping tail.
Limited to 100 units in Europe
Audi is celebrating its iconic sports car, the TT, with a limited-edition model. The Audi TT RS Iconic Edition celebrates 25 years of the TT nameplate and will be sold exclusively in Europe.
The TT RS Iconic Edition features a unique dark color scheme, accentuated by the use of a variety of Audi-exclusive components. The front grille, front splitter, and the aero kit were all developed in the wind tunnel. This is done to enhance the TT’s aerodynamics and downforce, resulting in more power and better cornering performance.
The interior of the TT RS Iconic Edition is also unique. It features black Alcantara panels, Nappa leather in jet gray, and contrast yellow stitching. The black and yellow pattern is repeated on the door armrests and the instrument panel.
The TT RS Iconic edition is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged TFSI engine, producing 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. It also features Matrix LED headlights and ambient lighting.
Available in two-tone black and gray with yellow contrast stitching
TT RS Iconic Edition pays homage to the legendary Audi TT. A limited edition model, it has 480 Nm of torque and a 2.5-liter turbo-5. A new aero kit features a fixed carbon rear wing and front splitter for dynamic power. Its interior boasts nappa leather and Alcantara.
The aerokit was developed in the wind tunnel, optimizing drag and lift. It also includes vertical elements on the diffuser and side air intakes separated by wings. The aerokit can be customised according to your preferences, with individual leather colors and contrasting stitching.
The interior of the TT RS Iconic Edition focuses on driver attention. Two-tone RS sports seats feature black Alcantara center panels and thin Nappa side panels in jet grey. They also feature honeycomb stitching in Calendula yellow. This color extends to the steering wheel, floor mats, and door armrests. The numbered badge on the gear selector designates each of the 100 vehicles.
The exterior of the TT RS Iconic edition features glossy black parts. The lower edge of the side skirts is in high-gloss black. The car’s rear spoiler is oval-shaped and consists of side fins for a sporty appearance. The five-cylinder engine sits low to the ground and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 20-inch alloys are shod with 255/30 tires.
Rear wing offsets aerodynamic challenges of a sloping tail
A new rear wing has been added to the Audi TT RS Iconic Edition. The wing is big enough to cover the entire car’s rear quarter panels and will help offset the aerodynamic challenges of the sloping tail.
The TT RS Iconic Edition comes with a large spoiler and a low center of gravity. These changes improve performance and handling. However, the RS is still lacking in some key components, including an upgraded chassis control system.
While the TT RS Iconic Edition will not be making it to the U.S. market, you can find the model in Europe. It costs over $120,000, more than the standard TT RS and will be limited to just 100 models. It also has a new fixed carbon wing and features some unique touches.
The iconic model has been a staple of the TT RS’s design history. In fact, it was a revelation for the Audi brand. The TT concept debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1995. Powered by a 1.8-litre inline four cylinder turbocharged engine, it was a revelation for the time.
Available in all-Volcano livery
Audi is celebrating the success of its TT coupe with the release of the Iconic Edition. This is a limited edition of 100 cars and is sold only in Europe. It features a gloss black finish, carbon-fiber accents, and a fixed rear wing.
The Iconic Edition has been designed to be a nod to the original Bauhaus-inspired TT. It also has a sporty livery, which includes special Quattro decals, gloss black accents, and red, grey, and blue racing stripes.
Inside, you will find a leather steering wheel with RS logo stitching at the 12 o’clock position and a fine Nappa leather seat with honeycomb stitching in calendula yellow. You’ll also have black floor mats with RS embroidery. The TT RS Iconic Edition comes with a plaque that identifies the specific vehicle.
A unique aero kit for the TT RS includes a fixed rear wing and side flics on the front apron. This improves downforce and aerodynamics, which helps cornering performance. In addition, the car is equipped with a seven-speed S tronic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. The Iconic Edition can hit a top speed of 174 mph.
