This year, in February sources were talking of a new generation of Lotus Esprit. Then Autocar confirmed the fact that it is true, Lotus is building a new generation of its supercar.
It is believed that the new Lotus will have a V8 engine delivering over 400 bhp. The car will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009 and will be sold at a price around 97.000 euro.
