Leaked: Porsche GT3 facelift

Revealing the same design as the 2009 Porsche 911 facelift, the new GT3 was caught during some testing. For the moment it is not clear if the vehicle you see in the photos is the GT3 or the GT3RS. The car unveils same front splitter, same nose-mounted air-vent and central exhaust but the difference comes from the big rear wing which is the same from the current RS model.
The GT3 will be powered by the same 3.6 liter engine found on the current model, but tweaked in order to obtain better performances. For those who don’t know the current model delivers 409 hp, but the next generation promises over 450 hp. Due to the power increase also the sprint from 0-100 km/h will drop below 4 seconds while the top speed will be increased to overtake the current 312 km/h. [source carmagazine]
