Rust for the $1,700,000 Bugatti Veyron

According to PistonHeads the picture was taken at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. If you take a look at the picture ( to see in high detail please click the picture below) you can see that Bugatti Veyron is begining to rust. Yes, RUST ! What you see in the picture is rust! The $1,700,000 supercar is showing its weak points.
It could also be the fact that the driver never took care of his Bugatti Veyron because he was too busy driving it. But if we think the Veyron has been recently launched then how it began to rust in such a short time? Maybe Bugatti has something to tell us…

Isn’t that the heat shield, too? Might be a small reason for some of the rust and the fact that it’s in England, near the sea (sea salt rusts metal like pigs to a trough), and it rains quite a lot there.
