Mercedes BLK the main rival for Bmw 1-Series

The new Mercedes BLK is based on the C-Class and will be offered in 3 body styles: coupe, hath and convertible. This represents the answer from Mercedes to the successful Bmw 1-Series and is expected to attract young buyers. Mercedes could base these small cars on the larger rear-wheel drive C-Class platform, which would allow larger engines especially for the American auto market.
The BLK will be presented in 2011.The hatchback an the coupe will be presented first and then they will be followed by the convertible version.
