Audi Q7 hybrid SUV not coming to USA

Audi, the German automaker decided to cancel the hybrid version on the American auto market of its land yacht, the Q7, due to the fact that the premium hybrid SUV will not be a big hit. According to Automotive News, Audi made this choice after watching the U.S. dollar tank but also by doing some it studied the market.
“It was a very hard car to make the numbers work. We will not do the hybrid Q7 as a conventional product offering” said Johan de Nysschen, Audi’s brand head in the U.S. According to Johan de Nysschen only few hybrid Q7s will make their way across the ocean and this only at private dealers.
