The Japanese automaker plans to begin the selling of a second brand of hybrid automobiles in 2009.
Toyota plans to sell around 100,000 new hybrids but wants to increase the hybrid sales to one million by the end of 2010.This will be Toyota’s second hybrid model, following the success of Prius. The automaker also has hybrid versions of the Camry, Highlander SUV, and a few high class models from Lexus .
There is no word on what this model is going to look like or where it will fit into the current lineup.Future articles will be available.
