By the time Chrysler’s Dodge Challenger muscle car is still a muse for the modern Barracuda yet  to come we can already see on the streets some new “Cudas” but signed only by California’s Metalcrafters. This is the same company that last year revealed SEMA Barracuda coupe concept. Its latest model was shown just a few days ago during the annual Spring Fling event in California.


The new convertible Barracuda  has a completely revised front- end with single projector headlights, a new grille and a black “shaker” hood. The rear also gets new lights, a central fuel filler cap and a small carbon fiber bootlid spoiler.

As you may know, the original Barracuda was sold under the Plymouth signature. As this brand is no longer part of Chrysler’ s lineup we can expect for the latest version of Cuda to be sold as a Dodge or Chrysler brand. But at the moment the only signature appeared on the Barracuda is the one from Metalcrafters. [source motorauthority]
