You may call it the most surprising return from shadows of the last period but the new MG TF confirms it all. The British fans can admire it now even though there is nothing British in this brand as it’s Chinese owned. The new model will replace the old TF and it is set to go on sale by 2010, not only a convertible model but also a coupe. The basis of the new TF lays on the Roewe 550 compact hatch, which was unveiled during the Beijing Motor Show, and it features a rear- wheel- drive version of that model’s platform.
Its price will be very almost same as for the Mazda MX-5 with the mention that the new FT will be bigger than the well known Japanese convertible. The new TF updates the shape with a striking front end incorporating a deep-set four-piece radiator grille and quad headlamps. At the rear, the curvy tail completes the look and the chassis is based on a design that was created by MG Rover.
